Buljarica is a medium-sized rocky and sandy beach. In it's cove there are most reedbeds, but wet meadows, pastures and fragments of oak forests too.

Description

Many ducks, herons and waders migrate through this site. Heilo, Sandløper, Tjeld, Steinvender and Tamarisksanger can be seen on migration. During winter from the beach can be seen Svartehavsmåke, Storlom and Splitterne. Balkanhauk, Turteldue and Vannrikse breed here.

Access

Buljarica is located on the coast south of the town of Petrovac. You can park at one end of the beach and go by foot to the other end. Other parts of cove can be accessed by car and on foot. Click on a P in the map for directions to a parking spot. The circular route indicated on the map is about 6 km.
