Description
The sanctuary at 1080 metres is dating back to the 1400s and is located in the center of the Stura Valley. Close to the sanctuary is an observation point surrounded by greenery with a beautiful view of the Valle Stura mountains. Among the birds of prey that can be spotted on migration are Vepsevåk, Slangeørn, Musvåk, Spurvehauk, Glente, Svartglente and Sivhauk. Also a chance on Gåsegribb and Kongeørn.

Access
The observation point is reachable by car or on foot along a path (see the map) that starts next to the Demonte hospital and can be covered in about 45 minutes. The sanctuary is located 400 metres further on and is equipped with tables and water.
