Description
Around the village of Fubine you can see many nice Mediterranean bird species such as Bieter, Hærfugl and Dverghornugle. A colony of Bieter breeds in the mountain where Fubine is located.. Hærfugl can also be seen often and I have also seen groups of Helligibis fly over. Two Dverghornugle are probably in a tree at the bottom right of the church at the top, but I have seen them myself in the evening on the electricity wires just below the church in the dark. Every evening I heard them call loudly. Bieter sometimes all sit together in high bare treetops at the bottom of the mountain in and around the sand walls.

You can park in the town of Fubine. You can do a lot by car, such as exploring the mountain in search of the colony of Bieter. I recommend the super nice AirBnB of Valerie and Gwenn if you want to spend a few days bird watching around Fubine.
