City park in Eilat that is always worth a check for passerines, especially during spring migration.
Eilat Central Park is a small city park in the middle of Eilat. Especially during spring migration virtually any migratory bird from Europe to Central Asia could turn up here. It is a very open park with trees on the edges. It's these edges where you find most birds in the trees and shrubs. Among the birds that are observed regularly in the park are Hærfugl, Beryllbieter, Vendehals, Halsbåndparakitt, Hvitpannevarsler, Bleksanger, Araberbylbyl, Furusanger, Munk, Møller, Sultansanger, Svartstrupesanger. Tornsanger, Hekkskvett, Rødstjert, Hortulan, Lappiplerke, Palestinasolfugl and Araberskriketrost.
Eilat Central Park is easily accessible from Eilat on foot. If you have your own transport you can park your car close to the park. Click on the P in the map for directions.
