Island Wood is a deciduous and coniferous woodland along a fast flowing river. The area has an abundance of species of Finches, Tits, Crows and Raptors. You can also observe Isfugl and Fossekall.

Access

Island Wood is located south of the town of Newmarket. There is a car park available at the entrance to the wood. Press P on the map for directions. The circular walking route indicated on the map is about 3 km.
