The road towards Makara is a great route to search for many typical inland breeding species that inhabit the drier parts of the island, like Berghøne, Middelhavssteinskvett and Klippespettmeis. The rocky outcrops are a great spot for Blåtrost and Rustspurv. The small scattered bushes are good for migrating Buskskvett, Steinskvett and Svartstrupe.
Further down the road, the road lies adjacent to a shallow valley with scattered trees, and several small groves. These areas are great for migrants, like Bieter, Hærfugl, shrikes, warblers, swallows, swifts and flycatchers.
