Description
The Korakas headland provides some great spots for arriving migrants during autumn migration; especially the olive groves on this side of the headland. These groves can be packed with mixed flocks of migrants, like Rødstjert, Svarthvit Fluesnapper, Gråfluesnapper and many species of warblers. The area is also used by Spettmeis during the breeding season, and lots of Mellomspett can be found here too.
Some parts of the track provide a great view over the strait towards Turkey, so scan the skies for migrating raptors, storks, swifts and hirundines.

Access
The Korakas headland has unpaved roads only, and some parts can be pretty steep. A decent car is advised to drive around the headland, but not necessary if you're an experienced driver. MOST CAR RENTALS DON'T ALLOW YOU TO DRIVE HERE THOUGH.
