Hike in a typical dry Mediterranean landscape with dry stony land and a mountain hillside.
The landscape of this hike is fantastic. Marmari Valley offes a variety of open habitats from dry stony land to a mountain hillside and a shrubby area. The bird diversity resembles this with Middelhavssteinskvett and Topplerke as typical species.
Rhodos has a good, but sometimes difficult to understand bus system. Both sides of the trail offer a bus stop. With the car, you can park at the entrance to Lindos. Click on the P in the map for directions. The trail indicated on the map is about 5 km one way. Be aware that there is hardly any shadow! The path is also not always easy to find, so watch out for the small stone towers. The path is stony and steep in some places, so proper hiking boots are recommended.
