Mixed area of open fields and forest in the Westerwald region in Rheinland-Pfalz. Good area to see Glente and many other birds.
Pudersbach is surrounded by the wide green spaces of the Westerwald. It's a wooded area with large open spaces and fields. You can see various birds of prey like Tårnfalk, Spurvehauk, Glente and owls like Hubro and Kattugle. The area is also rich in different songbirds. Among the birds you can see are Granmeis, Løvmeis, Svartmeis, Rødtoppfuglekonge, Grønnsisik, Stjertmeis, Mellomspett, Svartspett, Spettmeis, Sørnattergal, Rødstjert, Grankorsnebb, Stillits and Dompap.
The best way to explore the area is by foot or by bike. Parking is available both inside and outside the town. The circular route that is shown on the map is 5,5 km long.
