Description
The small lake Pfuhlensee is home to many resting birds during migration time. Tjeld, Siland and Vipe can be seen here. In addition, there are many breeding birds such as Knoppsvane and Gravand. There are also special feeding visitors such as Havørn.

Access
The small lake Pfuhlensee is located 15 km north of Kiel, just west of the town Strande. Coming from Kiel, the Fördestraße leads directly past the lake, but there is no suitable parking right next to the lake, so it is best to use one of the parking areas at the Olympic Center, these are marked P on the map. From there it's a very short walk to the lake area.
