Created in the 1970s by excavation, the area around these two separated lakes has developed from being public to a leisure area.
The Bulderner See is located about one kilometer to the west of the Dülmen district of Buldern along the Karthäuser Mühlenbach and consists of two parts. The lake are popular with anglers and bird life. About three pairs of Toppdykker breed and many other waterfowl can be seen here.
The Bulderner See is located about one kilometer to the west of the Dülmen district of Buldern. The area is accessible on foot, by bike and by car. Click on the P in the map for directions. You can make a 2,5 km circular walk around the lakes.
