Description

The Baddeckenstedt Teiche are ponds that are located in the nature reserve Mittleres Innerstetal, about 6 km east of the Derneburg ponds. Numerous waterfowl breed here, including around 15 pairs of Dvergdykker , 1-2 pairs of Svarthalsdykker and, for the first time in 2010, a pair of Gråstrupedykker. Occasionally, Toppdykker also breed. In addition to Stokkand and Knoppsvane, Toppand, Taffeland and Snadderand are at home here.
