Description
Pointe de Grave is one of the best places in western France to watch migrating birds during spring. Loads of birds are spotted when northeasterlies/easterlies blow: Sandsvale, Låvesvale, Sildemåke, Turteldue, Heipiplerke, Bokfink, Tornirisk, Stillits amongst the most abundant.

Access
As migration spot it's best to come very early in the morning and sit on the dune, facing South. By train: from Bordeaux to Pointe de Grave station, By car: there is a free car park right at the tip where the road stops.
