Mont de Pouilly is made up of a beautiful limestone grasslands surrounded by vineyards. The site is known to birders for the observations of Svarthodesanger, Nattravn or even Slangeørn. In the meadows and the surrounding vineyard you can observe Trelerke, Hærfugl and Svartstrupe. Mont de Pouilly also offers a magnificent panoramic view of the Solutré rock and the Saône plain.

Access
The easiest way to access Mont de Pouilly is to first go to the village of Solutré and then go to the hamlet of Barvay. Click a P on the map to get directions to a parking spot. The circular walking route indicated on the map is about 3 km.
