Description

Mont de la Fa is mainly composed of limestone grasslands where you can find typical bird species such as Nattravn, Trelerke, Hekkspurv and even Hærfugl. The star of the site is Svarthodesanger! You can also observe Lerkefalk and Alpeseiler hunting and for the lucky ones the Hubro singing in the distance at dusk.

Français: Le site est une pelouse calcicole typique de la côte Mâconnaise. Le site est principalement composé de pelouses calcaires où l'on retrouve des espèces typiques comme l' Nattravn , l' Trelerke , le Hekkspurv ou encore la Hærfugl . La star du site reste la Svarthodesanger ! On peut également observer le Lerkefalk ou le Alpeseiler en chasse et pour les plus chanceux le Hubro chanter au loin au crépuscule.

Access

Mont de la Fa is accessed through the village of La Roche-Vineuse via Chemin de la Belouse. Click on the P in the map for directions to a parking spot. The circular route indicated on the map is about 4 km.
