In La Grand Mar with a bit luck, you can spot up to 100 Hvitkinnsvartterne and maybe even a Brakksvale. In the area, you can observe all the 7 heron species of the Camargue. There are also a lot of reeds, wich is good for Trostesanger and Rørsanger. The Cistussanger is singing nearly the whole year.

Access
The La Grand Mar wetland is located 10 km southwest of Arles. The road is suitable for walking, cycling or driving. There are no problems with a wheelchair, or with a car. With the car you can stop on the side of the road, or you can drive slowly on the road.
