This pass that is known as a stage in the Tour de France is also a good place for birding.
Col du Soulor is a good place for observing the migration of diurnal raptors. But the pass is also very interesting because of sedentary species such as Lammegribb and Gåsegribb. Very present on this site is also Kongeørn and it is possible to see Åtselgribb here too. In the surrounding forests you can also see very interesting species of passerines such as Grankorsnebb, Rødstjert or even Steinskvett.
