Dam on the river Saône, the downstream part of the dam attracts many birds in winter and during migration.
Barrage d'Orme is especially interesting for wintering and passing water birds, it is also a wetland site. You can see many species of waterfowl like Taffeland, Toppand or Laksand. The surrounding meadows are home to the classic procession of grassland birds like Storspove or Buskskvett. The forest near the dam is home to a colony of Gråhegre and one can observe there woodpeckers such as the Svartspett.

Français: Il s'agit d'un barrage sur la Saône, la partie aval du barrage attire de nombreux oiseaux en hiver et en période de migration. Le site est surtout intéressant pour les oiseaux d'eau hivernant et de passage, il s'agit d'ailleurs d'un site wetland. On peut y voir de nombreuses espèces d'anatidés comme le Taffeland, le Toppand ou encore le Laksand, les prairies autour abrite le cortège classique des oiseaux des prairies comme le Storspove ou le Buskskvett, le boisement proche du barrage abrite une colonie de Gråhegre et l'on peut y observer les espèces de picidés classiques de plaine aluviale comme le Svartspett.
