Description

The Charmes-sur-Rhône dam is a good place to observe autumn migration of storks and waterbirds. The area is a very important migratory corridor for migratory birds except raptors. Among the birds you can observe are Stork, Rovterne, Svartterne, Storskarv and Svartstork.

Access

This dam on the Rhone River is located 10 km south of the city of Valence near the town of Charmes-sur-Rhône. The migration site is easy accessible by car. Press P on the map for directions.
