Description

The Mustavuori forest offers a variety of sights worth seeing besides birding. There are historical World War trenches, caves, tunnels, gorges and ponds. Mustavuori is a nationally valuable built environment site and its structures are protected under the Antiquities Act. Thanks to the grove areas and the nice amount of decaying wood that the forest has accumulated, it is an ideal place for a diverse range of wildlife. Examples of birds that can be sighted include (but are not limited to) Jerpe, Bøksanger, Gjerdesmett, Munk, Gulsanger, Orrfugl and Dvergfluesnapper.
