Description
This area along the Vltava River is not a very beautiful place, but you can find some interesting birds there and there are many ducks and swans on this part of the river. Mandarinand is common. Also common are Toppand, Dvergdykker, Knoppsvane, Stokkand, Hettemåke, Isfugl, Svartrødstjert and Grønnspett. In winter Kaspimåke and Storskarv are regulars. If you have a bit of luck, you can also find Snadderand. In the winter, some rarer ducks like Skjeand, Brunnakke, Kvinand, Laksand or Rødhodeand can be found there.

This area of the river is located 8 km south from the city center of Prague. Easy to reach from Prague by tram.
