A 60 hectare grazing block with wild horses. You can walk around freely and spot birds like Møller, Flaggspett and Tornsanger.
Reytmeersen is a freely accessible area along the river Bovenschelde. Two to three pair of Musvåk breed in the area every year. The various dead trees are nice for Flaggspett, Kortklotrekryper and Stær. In the winter period you can enjoy the smaller warblers foraging in the various bushes: Fuglekonge, Rødtoppfuglekonge, Stillits and Bokfink and in de summer you can find Grønnfink, Møller and Tornsanger (breeding birds).

Nederlands: Reytmeersen is een 60 hectare groot begrazingsgebied met wilde paarden. Een vrij toegankelijk gebied langs de rivier de Bovenschelde. Jaarlijks broeden er twee tot drie paar Musvåk in het gebied. De verschillende dode bomen zijn leuk voor Flaggspett, Kortklotrekryper en Stær. In de winterperiode kunt u genieten van de kleinere zangers die in de verschillende struiken foerageren: Fuglekonge, Rødtoppfuglekonge, Stillits en Bokfink en in de zomer kun je er de broedvogels Grønnfink, Møller en Tornsanger aantreffen.
Reytmeersen is located just north of Oudenaarde. You can park the vehicle on the public road "Voor Eine". Press P on the map for directions.
