Description
Plateau du Gerny is an area of open fields surrounded by bushes. Glente and Svartglente are frequent. Annual observations of Boltit, Enghauk, Markpiplerke and sometimes Trane on the ground. Rare visiors that have been observed in the area are Tartarpiplerke, Lappiplerke, Hvithodespurv, Hortulan, Snøspurv, Hærfugl, Fjellvåk, Steppehauk, Dvergørn, Svartvingeglente and Aftenfalk.

You can visit the main part of Plateau du Gerny by car but the eastern part is forbidden for cars. The circular route indicated on the map is about 8 km.
