Stamford Park Wetlands

Victoria  >  Australia

A lovely area to walk around, flat paths, easy walking, much to see in grasses and in trees.

Description

When visited in June 2025 we identified 32 different species in a couple of hours. Lots of Robins in the grasses, Red-rumped Parrots and Galahs also on the green grasses. Golden-headed Cisticola in the brown taller grasses by the water's edge. Black-shouldered Kite high in a tree watching for prey. A pelican flew in, escorted by two Little Ravens.
