Beschrijving

The main attraction of Stack Rocks is the sea bird colony best viewed from May to early July when thousands of Zeekoet crowd on to the Stacks to breed together with smaller numbers of Alk, Kuifaalscholver and Drieteenmeeuw. Alpenkraai are regular here as are Slechtvalk. In the spring and summer Tapuit are common on the rocky grassland of the clifftops. In the winter a walk eastwards towards St Govans may produce Smelleken, possibly Blauwe Kiekendief and good flocks of Goudplevier. Offshore the occasional Diver is possible.
