A short walk from Brigsteer or a 2 km walk from the national trust car park (which has an excellent cafe and facilities) is this little hide that was extremely quiet and well maintained. Overlooking Park End Moss Wetland with panoramic openings and detailed bird information inside it is a great little spot not far off the M6. Birds that have been observed here include Bruine Kiekendief, Rietzanger, Kleine Karekiet, Rietgors, Waterral, Watersnip, Wulp, Zomertaling, Dodaars and Kleine Zilverreiger.

Park End Moss Wetland is located south of Kendal, near the village of Brigsteer. Easy accessible from the M6 highway. Park at the National Trust Carpark for Sizergh Estate (2 km walk along easy path, a little hilly). Press P on the map for directions to the carpark.
