Beschrijving

Landguard Nature Reserve is covering approximately 33 hectares (81 acres) on the southern tip of Suffolk's coastline. You can see migrating birds together with huge ships arriving and departing at Britain's busiest container port Harwich. The Nature Reserve is a designated Local Nature Reserve and a Site of Special Scientific Interest because of its high wildlife conservation value. Take a stroll on the boardwalk around the 'point' with views of the estuary mouth to spot rare and resident birdlife or visit the Bird observatory. Among the birds that are seen here often are Rotgans, Tapuit, Zwarte Roodstaart, Kneu, Bontbekplevier, Scholekster and Rode Patrijs.
