Beschrijving
The island of Flat Holm has a significant breeding colony of over 4,000 pairs of Kleine Mantelmeeuw, 400 pairs of Zilvermeeuw, two pairs of Grote Mantelmeeuw and varying numbers of Scholekster and Bergeend. The south of the island is undermanaged and mainly used for the large population of Kleine Mantelmeeuw, while the rest the island is managed to help the population of slow worms and other rare wildlife.
