Beschrijving

Blenheim Palace is a country house in Woodstock and the seat of the Dukes of Marlborough. The palace, one of England's largest houses, was built between 1705 and 1722, and designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1987. There are wetland birds in plenty in and around the lake. Three species of egret, Zomertaling, Krakeend, Wintertaling, Mandarijneend, Nijlgans, Waterral and Gele Kwikstaart. In the woods you can find Sperwer, Raaf, Bosuil and Grauwe Vliegenvanger. Choice of four cafes. Ornamental gardens and much else.
