Beschrijving

The Pinetum has a large number of evergreens, but mixed deciduous trees also. Surrounding the Pinetum itself is Bedgebury Forest. On the 320 acres of the Pinetum there are also nice viewpoints and man-made waterways. All together a biodiverse environment where a range of woodland birds can be seen here. For example Appelvink, Goudhaan, Groene Specht, Raaf and Taigaboomkruiper.

Toegang

Bedgebury is located close to the A21. There is a large car park by the Visitor Centre, although it costs £13 for the day as it is used by mountain bikers and families making use of the play areas. Once parked, the Pinetum can be visited on foot. On the map you see a circular walk of 2 km in the Pinetum. But there are many other hiking trails in the area.
