Lanca Degli Stornazzi is a small port surrounded by forested banks and cityparks. During the spring and autumn migration interesting bird species can sometimes be observed. Among the birds you can encounter are water birds like Knobbelzwaan, Tafeleend, Kuifeend, Dodaars, Fuut and Watersnip, but in the trees and parks also birds like Wielewaal, Bonte Vliegenvanger, Grauwe Vliegenvanger, Grote Bonte Specht and Groene Specht.
