Beschrijving
The Silberweide nature station has a hide. If you are lucky you can see various birds. Outside, along the shore of the Greifensee, there are various habitats for a wide variety of birds. You have the lake, the Aabach stream which flows into the lake, many old big trees, reed areas, meadows with wild flowers, wetlands, hedges etc. The distance to walk can be adjusted individually, depending on your condition. The area can offer something at any time of the year, but of course especially during the bird migration season the birding is best.

You can drive there. It has two parking lots (fee payable). One is directly at the nature station, the other at the bathing area Egg. The best way to get to Uster with public transport is to take the bus to Riedlikon. From there you can already walk along the lake. Or you can go there by bike. Walking around the lake would be too far. But very possible by bike.
