In spring and summer at the small lake, Sunnerstaviken, you have a change of finding Kuifduiker, Roodhalsfuut or in rare cases Dodaars. Go south of the lake and you find yourself in a forested ridge, where you can find your typical forest birds. If you are at the skislope during winter you have a change of finding Koperwiek and in certain years Haakbek will feed on Rowan-berries. On the other side of the river a lot of geese usually rest during spring and autumn migration, species like Kolgans and Kleine Rietgans have been found there.
