Styran is located just outside Ösmo and consists of Västra Styran, which is a lake, Östra Styran, which is a wetland area, open fields, and deciduous forest. In the southern part of the wetland area there is a bird watching tower. These species can be found, among other birds: Kievit, Grauwe Gans, Taigarietgans, Kleine Rietgans, Kolgans, Visarend, Zeearend, Bruine Kiekendief, Vink, Groenling, Appelvink, Groene Specht, Geelgors, Rietzanger and Kleine Karekiet.

You can reach the bird observation tower by turning off at the riding school just after Ösmo (road 225) if you are coming from Stockholm. There is a parking space 400 meters from the tower. Click on the P in the map for directions.

Kleine Zwaan and Roodhalsgans sometimes join the large gatherings of mainly geese. Mostly seen in other places nearby, Struikrietzanger has been seen two years in a row so far.
