The two areas of Rönnen and Utvälinge are very good for shorebirds of all kinds. Especially during spring and autumn migration. A great variety of species can be seen and a fair amount of rarities as well. Apart from the wader birds Skälderviken is a good area for Alk, gulls and other seafowl. Considering the light of the day Rönnen is best visited in the evening and Utvälinge in the morning. Please notice that the outer part of Rönnen is restricted area the whole year.

Take bus nr 225 between Ängelholm and Höganäs, for Rönnen step of at N Häljaröd Rönnen and for Utvälinge at Utvälinge Kryssvägen.
If going by car drive road 112 and turn north towards Utvälinge.

The outer parts of Rönnen are protected and is a no go area year round. Be aware of signs and generally keep to the track.
