Beschrijving
Norsholmen is a peninsula on the small island of Fårö between Tällevika and Ajkesvik north of Gotland. Norsholmen is known for its good birding, mainly during spring and autumn migration. During the spring, large numbers of seabirds and waders pass through. At the end of May, for example, large flocks of Brandgans can be seen stopping on their way to their Arctic breeding grounds. The birdlife consists of waders such as Kluut, Steenloper, Kemphaan and Bonte Strandloper and terns such as Noordse Stern and Dwergstern. At the end of July/August, flocks of Grote Stern dwell around the islet. Zeearend is often seen.
