In spring and summer Lövstaslätten is a good place to see many birds of prey like Grauwe Kiekendief, Blauwe Kiekendief, Rode Wouw and Zeearend. Even very rare species like Steppekiekendief and Zwarte Wouw have been seen here.
In autumn many migrating birds pass through here like Goudplevier and rarities like Grote Pieper and Morinelplevier have been seen. Sneeuwgors and Frater spend there winters here.

Lövstaslätten is vast and one can birdwatch anywhere, the area marked on the map is located just south-east of Uppsala outside of a village called Danmark and just one kilometer from Linnés Hammarby, where one can find a bigger parking lot. Parking is otherwise tricky and not intended. You can get here by both car and bike. Click on a P in the map to get directions to that spot.
