Beschrijving

The previously overgrown area Långsjön - Ålbäck has been restored so that in the spring there are large open water areas which in the summer become more and more grassland except for the dug canals. Långsjön has also been restored to function as a playground for fish that migrate up in spring. When the large reed belt was reduced, the bird fauna has changed so that several species of ducks are found in the area. For example Wilde Eend, Wintertaling, Krakeend, Slobeend and Kuifeend. And birds such as Meerkoet, Dodaars, Kuifduiker and Wilde Zwaan. Breeding waders in the area are Kievit, Watersnip and Kleine Plevier. Resting waders include Bosruiter, Groenpootruiter and Kemphaan.

Toegang

The area has a good parking lot near the bird tower with a functionally adapted road. Click on the P in the map for directions. A hike around the lake via the trail of Sörmlandsleden (see the star on the map) can also pay off well.
