Klädesholmen is an island on the coast of Bohuslän that is connected to the mainland via a bridge. Klädesholmen is located opposite Skagen, Denmark's most northerly point, and therefore on the migratory route of many birds. The place is best after strong western winds and storms when many seabirds are blown into this western outpost. Among the seabirds you can see are IJseend, Kuifaalscholver, Middelste Zaagbek, Grote Zee-eend, Zwarte Zee-eend, Paarse Strandloper, Drieteenmeeuw, Alk, Zeekoet, Zwarte Zeekoet, Jan-van-gent, Roodkeelduiker, Dwergmeeuw, Grote Jager and many more. Slechtvalk and Zeearend are often seen sitting on surrounding rocks. Also a chance on Oeverpieper and Sneeuwgors.
