The Källstorp area has a varied bird life which includes Zomertaling, Bruine Kiekendief and Roodmus. The Zeearend is now seen frequently in the area.

Toegang
There are two points of access since the area is split in two parts. The best one is the western access. By foot you can take the stairs down to the ponds, which is a shortcut. By bike, you can reach the bird tower and the bird hide easily by the dirt road where you can see the Oeverzwaluw mud wall. The eastern access is further from the road, passing by a farm and leading to a smaller pond. Depending on the season and the level of water, it could be interesting to have a look. The area is frequented by a big amount of Grote Canadese Gans. Joined by migrant geese in late summer. As in others parts of the coast, you can see waders such asKemphaan, Groenpootruiter, Tureluur, Oeverloper and Bonte Strandloper . Raptors like Visarend, Bruine Kiekendief, Blauwe Kiekendief. The fields surrounding the ponds are also interesting for passerines.
