Beschrijving

Hlane Royal National Park is the largest protected area in Swaziland, set in the lowveld of the Lubombo Region in the northeast of the country. It spans roughly 22,000 hectares of bushveld, ancient hardwood trees and seasonal pans. The park is home to four of the Big Five – lion, elephant, rhino and leopard – along with large herds of giraffe, zebra, wildebeest, kudu, nyala and impala. Birdlife is abundant, with vultures, marabou storks and many raptors among the highlights.

Ndlovu Camp is the main camp. It is a nice relaxing spot to enjoy the Swazi hospitality, stretch your legs and get some refreshments. The water hole has a steady stream of savanna birds coming through and the camp gardens and grounds adds additional interest.
