Torre del Puerco is a watchtower from which you have a panoramic view of the entire beach of La Barrosa and from which you can see the passage of flocks of Lepelaar on migration to Africa. It is also possible to enjoy the passage of different seabirds in autumn and spring, such as Jan-van-gent, Kuhls Pijlstormvogel, Vale Pijlstormvogel, Grote Stern, , etc. It is also a good place to see passerines and other postbreeding birds, such as Gierzwaluw, Vale Gierzwaluw, Alpengierzwaluw, Boerenzwaluw, Tapuit, etc. In autumn there is a Roodstuitzwaluw roost, and up to 150 specimens can be seen entering to rest at night during the migratory passage of the species to the African continent.

Espagnol: Punto de observación del paso migratorio posnupcial de la Lepelaar de julio a noviembre, con pico de paso en septiembre. Se trata de una torre atalaya desde la que se tiene una vista panorámica de toda la playa de La Barrosa y desde la que se puede ver el paso de bandos de Lepelaar en migración hacia África. También es posible disfrutar del paso de distintas aves marinas en otoño y en primavera, como Jan-van-gent , Kuhls Pijlstormvogel , Vale Pijlstormvogel , Grote Stern , Alk etc. También es buen sitio para ver paseriformes y otras aves en migración posnupcial, como Gierzwaluw , Vale Gierzwaluw , Alpengierzwaluw , Boerenzwaluw , Tapuit , etc. En otoño hay un dormidero de Roodstuitzwaluw , pudiéndose ver hasta 150 ejemplares entrando a descansar por las noches durante el paso migratorio de la especie hacia el continente africano.

There is a car park right next to the observation tower. From the car park, you only have to walk about 50 m to the tower along a paved road. Click on the P in the map to get directions to the parking.
