Beautiful hike from the village of Serradilla to the Garganta del Fraile gorge with its waterfall. Along the trail, you can observe many different bird species, such as Blauwe Ekster, Roodkopklauwier, Thekla's Leeuwerik, Kuifleeuwerik, Roodborsttapuit, Groenling and Huiszwaluw. Watch out for the Vale Gier resting on the power poles. You can also hear Nachtegaal, Putter, Hop and Graszanger. Look up to see Vale Gier, Rode Wouw and other birds of prey. At the rest area at the waterfall you have a convenient opportunity to observe Vale Gier on the rocks. Bijeneter are also often present in the area.

The Sendero de la Garganta del Fraile starts in the village of Serradilla. Access is only possible by car. There's a parking lot in Serradilla. Press P on the map for directions to the parking. In the village you'll also find bars and cafes. The circular walk is about 9 km. You can also drive to the waterfall by car on a gravel road.
