Puerto de Torrevieja is a good site for observing seabirds. Geelpootmeeuw is everywhere, although it is relatively easy to spot other gulls like Kokmeeuw, Zwartkopmeeuw and Audouins Meeuw. Other birds you can spot depending on the time of year are Jan-van-gent, Alk, Aalscholver, Kuifaalscholver, Grote Jager and Vale Pijlstormvogel.
