You can do everything in this area. In the city you can spot birds like Spaanse Mus, Kanarie and many more. If you go up north you come to fields and empty landscapes. Seawatching is also very worthwhile. If the conditions are good, you can spot up to 300 Kuhls Pijlstormvogel and with luck Noordse Pijlstormvogel and maybe even a Kleine Pijlstormvogel. On a good morning I saw 250 Kuhls Pijlstormvogel and 3 Noordse Pijlstormvogel. If you have the chance to go by boat, I would take it, because you can take good pictures and also have a chance to see dolphines. With much luck there is a chance of any storm petrel. Also Barbarijse Valk could be possilbe.

Puerto de Santiago is located on the northwestern coast of Tenerife. You can get there easy by bus, but also by car. Press P on the map for directions to a parking spot. The walking route is not too easy because it is quite hilly.
