Beschrijving
Parque Forestal Valdebebas - Felipe IV consists of a young forest of native vegetation, though an area to the south does have older trees. Most of the area is dominated by stone pines, which hold all of the common birds of the area. The park has several streams and and two small lakes. These attract birds such as Grote Gele Kwikstaart, Buidelmees, Waterral (uncommon), IJsvogel and sometimes Casarca. Some other ducks, like Krakeend, might occasionally show up. Waders, such as Witgat can also appear. There have been records of Griel. During winter, the top part of the park is very good for Koperwiek, with Kramsvogel also being present. Some raptors like Monniksgier might fly over, but this isn't a good spot for them. Steenuil is present, however, the park is closed at night, making other owl species sightings scarce. Kraanvogel might ocassionally fly over during winter.
