Parque de Los Exploradores is a large urban park located in the Santa Ana neighborhood of Cartagena. The park allows you to observe these species year-round: Huismus, Turkse Tortel, Houtduif, Monniksparkiet, Groenling, Europese Kanarie, Hop, Merel, and Zwarte Spreeuw. During winter it is possible to observe species such as Zwarte Roodstaart, Tjiftjaf, Vink, Roodborst , and Kruisbek. During the breeding season you can observe Boerenzwaluw, Huiszwaluw, Gierzwaluw, Vale Gierzwaluw and Grauwe Vliegenvanger. During the migration season it is possible to observe several species of small migrants. A Humes Bladkoning wintered in this park during 2024/2025.
