The interest of the Lanchares site lies in the possibilities it offers to the birdwatcher at different times of the year, as well as the ease of access. On a route in the vicinity of the village of Lanchares it is possible to observe birds typical of very different environments. Of course birds associated with the water of the reservoir such as Fuut, Grauwe Gans, Wintertaling and Aalscholver. Birds of grasslands such as Alpenkraai, Iberische Klapekster, Veldleeuwerik and Kneu or birds of rural areas such as Ooievaar, Gierzwaluw, Boerenzwaluw and Houtduif. Also numerous birds of prey surround the meadows such as Torenvalk, Sperwer, Dwergarend and Vale Gier.

Espagnol: Al norte del Embalse del Ebro se encuentra la población de Lanchares, en torno a la que puede realizarse una ruta rodeada de praderas y con visión al embalse. El interés de este sitio se encuentra en las posibilidades que ofrece al pajarero en las distintas épocas del año, así como a la facilidad de su acceso. En una ruta en las proximidades de este pueblo es posible observar aves propias de ambientes muy diferentes, como el agua del embalse (Fuut, Grauwe Gans, Wintertaling o Aalscholver), las praderas ( Alpenkraai, Iberische Klapekster, Veldleeuwerik o Kneu) o los espacios antropizados rurales ( Ooievaar, Gierzwaluw, Boerenzwaluw o Houtduif). Debe destacarse también la presencia de numerosas aves rapaces que circundan las praderas como el Torenvalk, el Sperwer, el Dwergarend o el Vale Gier.

Access is very simple, since it is possible to park in the parking lot of the Ornithological Center or, if preferred, in Lanchares or another of the surrounding towns. The roads are mostly paved and only become complicated if you want to go cross country. Click on a P in the map for directions. The circular route indicated on the map is about 8 km.

Espagnol: El acceso es muy sencillo, ya que es posible aparcar en el parking del propio Centro Ornitológico o, si se prefiere, en Lanchares u otra de las poblaciones de alrededor. Los caminos están mayoritariamente asfaltados y solo se hacen complicados si se quiere ir campo através. Haga clic en una P en el mapa para obtener direcciones.
