Laguna de Navaseca is a lagoon that has water input throughout the year from a water treatment plant. Due to the large amount of nutrients in the water, all kinds of permanent and seasonal water birds live and breed in the area. Among the birds that can be seen are Grauwe Gans, Flamingo, Kokmeeuw, Bruine Kiekendief, Geoorde Fuut, Dodaars, Witkopeend, Meerkoet, Kluut, Oeverloper, Purperkoet, Waterhoen, Steltkluut, Krooneend, Slobeend, Rietzanger and Baardman.
