The Calderon Hondo volcano is in first line a tourist attraction with tame Barbary ground squirrel. Therefore, Canarische Roodborsttapuit are also very tame and are the ornithological main attraction of this site. However, the landscape is also very beautiful but you should be there early in the morning before the tourist rush hour and before it becomes hot. There is also the chance of other wildlife such as Aasgier or Barbarijse Valk but, however there are better places on Fuerteventura for these species.
